HEAT EXCHANGERS FOR THERMAL LEVEL CONTROL AND REGULATION IN PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCTION REACTORS

The need is to control and regulate the thermal level in production reactors. Work is carried out in an explosive environment, so the control units must be ATEX certified. Temperature control then takes place in the control room via interface with field instrumentation.
The temperature is controlled by means of two levels and a mixture of water and inhibited monoethylene glycol, kept under pressure with a pressurised circuit, was used as the carrier fluid.
