CARBON DIOXIDE, FROM WASTE TO REFRIGERATION RESOURCE WITH BRAZED EXCHANGERS

Pistoia, Italia

Carbon dioxide, often regarded as a mere waste product of industrial processes, is precisely for this reason an important resource for refrigeration and temperature control. It is in fact available in nature, and therefore an excellent substitute for synthetic refrigerants, and its use has several applications of fundamental importance for a transition to the use of a renewable source by recovering and recycling CO2. In this area, we have developed brazed plate heat exchangers (BPHE) capable of exploiting this important resource.
