Spray drying in pharmaceuticals requires very careful temperature control. Especially at certain stages of processing, when it is necessary to keep well below 0°C.
After careful analysis at process level, we have an air-cooled chiller solution, with redundant chiller units, to produce water/antifreeze solution at -30°C. In addition to these solutions, a user interface was provided to remotely manage both the chillers and their settings.
