Present and Future of Thermal Energy in the second e-book by Tempco

The Present and future of thermal energy management applications is the subject of the second e-book realized by Tempco. The idea of this new book came as a follow-up and an update of our first Tempco book, Thermal Energy and Industrial Processes (available in the Resources section of the Tempco website), aiming to bring the attention on how the field of thermal energy within the industry is moving forward and evolving, driven by crucial themes of energy efficiency, sustainability and the growing adoption of renewables. But also thanks to the new opportunities offered by digitalization and the Industry 4.0 paradigm.

This new e-book talks about the most recent and ground-breaking technologies emerging in different industrial applications, from the HVAC segment with CO2 refrigeration for the mobility of the future, with electrification and the new developing hydrogen applications with fuel cell technologies in cars, heavy transports and ships, but also the use of geothermal energy in heat pumps with TCOIL immersion heat exchangers. And up to the digital world, with liquid cooling applications employed by the most innovative data centers.

Several subjects treated on a series of chapters composing the new Tempco e-book, Present and Future of Thermal Energy:

  • CO2 Refrigeration
  • Hybrid Mobility and exchangers
  • Hydrogen and fuel cells
  • Liquid Cooling in Data Centers
  • Heat pumps and immersion heat exchangers
  • Industry 4.0 and remote management
