The port of Loano is one of the most modern marinas built in Italy. It has a range of services and facilities that make it a popular destination.
The entire port and its buildings are served by a thermal power plant, which uses the energy of seawater to power the heat pumps. With this in mind, we went to exploit the heat exchange capacity by directly immersing the coils, made with TCOIL series exchangers, in an area of the port where currents were present to increase their thermal output. This intervention made it possible to economically limit the cost of pumping energy, allowing a return on investment in less than three years.
