SINGLE-FLUID TEMPERATURE CONTROL UNITS OF REACTORS FOR THE PRODUCTION OF PAINKILLERS AND ANAESTHETICS

The application concerns a series of single-fluid temperature control units for dual-level reactors, with electric heating and water-supported cooling of the chillers in the plant.
For this purpose, a master/slave technology was implemented, with control of the heating elements by means of thyristors and thus modulating, and the cooling section with a modulating valve. Basically a dual PID temperature control, all remotely controlled by the customer’s PLC.
