Anodic oxidation

Anodic oxidation, used to increase the corrosion resistance of aluminum components, involves the need to cool the galvanic bath in which a low voltage current passes through an aqueous solution.

Here, heat exchangers are an essential asset for cooling the galvanic bath, whose temperature would otherwise continue to increase, affecting and compromising the anodic oxidation process of the materials. The temperature maintenance task involved, which vary depending on whether it is hard anodic oxidation (temperature between 10° C and 15° C) and traditional anodic oxidation (between 20° C and 25° C), allow the use of well water or refrigeration units.

Examples of applications in anodic oxidation:

Water chiller and plate heat exchanger on oxidization plant.

Plate heat exchanger on galvanic plant.
